What kind of adult do you really admire?

I admire people who keep going even when nobody notices. They work, come home, care for their family, play with their children, hold someone important to them and say, “I love you.” I'd give people like that the biggest medal in the world. That's only my value system, of course. But I really admire people who keep doing what matters to them even when nobody applauds. Sometimes that love reaches someone years later. Sometimes people only understand it after the person is gone. Maybe sometimes it never reaches them at all. I just want to be the kind of person who can recognize that kind of life when I see it.
