How did you survive this far?

A younger version of me might have said, “You survive no matter what it takes.” Now I don't think that's the whole story. I didn't get here by myself. People helped me. People carried me. Because of other people, I had food to eat today. So now, instead of only saying, “I survived,” I also think, “There were times I was kept alive by other people.” I'm grateful for that.
