What does good manners mean to you?

I care about small differences in language.

Years ago I thought there was a world of difference between saying “Have a drink” and “Would you like a drink?”

Same glass.

But one small change in words can completely change the relationship between two people.

I'd rather be someone who treats everyone with the same respect than someone who is polite only to important people.
